Moonstone

Moonstone has a pearly or opaline lustre and is reminiscent of the silvery moon, the stone derives its name from its blue-white sheen, the best ones come from Sri Lanka or Burma. It is believed to protect the wearer from the dangers of travel and enhances creativity and self-expression and is said to alleviate insomnia. Moonstone is one of the birthstones for June and symbolises Health and Longevity.
