2 Murano Glass Kingfisher & Black Lines 15mm Square Gold Foiled Beads. The beads are gold foiled, overlaid with transparent dark aqua glass which has been overlaid once again with further exposed gold stripes, then black lines/drizzles have been added.     The beads measure approx. 15mm square, the thickness tapers from 6 to 7mm. These beads (also known as Venetian Glass) are handmade on the island of Murano within the Venetian lagoon in Italy. The island of Murano has been dedicated to glass and bead making since the 14th Century. The murano glass artisans are regarded worldwide as the masters of their art.
