1 Strand Smoky Quartz Pyramid Shaped Beads; a most interesting shape these are pyramid shaped drilled near the pointed (top) end towards one side and faceted on the underside will make great drops or dangles each bead measures approx. 6x4mm (some larger some smaller) and some have natural inclusions (flaws) within them not all beads on the strand are perfect (this is a natural stone) lots of shine and sparkle.

Smoky Quartz is formed as a result of natural irradiation and often has a large constituent of Sodium; the stone is sometimes enhanced by heat treatment - generally speaking when the stone is very dark it is usually safe to assume it has been heat enhanced to give a deeper colour.
