A natural gem which should not be confused with the synthetic Cubic Zirconia. In it's pure form the stone is colourless, but impurities change the colour to brown. These stones are heat treated to acheive the various colours seen below; Zircon is surprisingly heavy for its size - a lovely, clean stone with no inclusions, and lots and lots of sparkle; clear Zircon is known to have the nearest (clear) colour and sparkle next to diamond; great for wire-wrapping, earrings and pendants.
