1Murano Glass Dark Amethyst & Black Lines 30mm Twist White Gold Foiled Beads. The beads are gold foiled, overlaid with transparent dark amethyst glass which has been overlaid once again with further exposed white gold stripes, then black lines/drizzles have been added.     The beads measure approx. 28 x 18 mm.. Suitable for large earrings or as focal pendant.

These beads (also known as Venetian Glass) are handmade on the island of Murano within the Venetian lagoon in Italy. The island of Murano has been dedicated to glass and bead making since the 14th Century. The murano glass artisans are regarded worldwide as the masters of their art.
