Druzy Quartz is a thin layer of quartz crystals covering the surface of a stone. One extreme example you might come across of this stone is the amethyst crystals you might see inside an 'amethyst church' or geode. The druzy aspect of the stone is the roughened, coloured side of the stone - on the other side the stone is plain. Some of these stones on this page have been dyed and a thin layer of precious metal (gold, titanium or platinum) applied to the surface by vacuum depostiion, to give this spectacular, sparkling and beautiful colouring to these stones - doubly precious! These beads were a one-off purchase for us and we may not be able to source them again.
Each strand has been priced indivually according to weight - for this reason there is only 1 of each available.
